The villa in Prague-Kyje is designed as a compositionally clear, horizontally structured building with an emphasis on simplicity and material contrast. The structure is defined by strong horizontal concrete bands that frame the two main floors and establish the architectural identity of the house. The facade combines vertical timber cladding with dark window openings and concrete elements, creating a contrast between the warmth of natural materials and the raw, industrial feel of exposed concrete. Functionally, the house is divided into a living zone on the ground floor and a private zone on the upper level. The upper floor is slightly recessed and partially sheltered, providing privacy and favorable lighting conditions. Large glazed openings connect the interior with the garden and surrounding landscape, reinforcing the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. The overall expression of the villa is restrained, functional, and contemporary, with a focus on detail, proportion, and the use of natural light.
