Chateau Velké Němčice
Idea projektu
The proposal for the restoration of the chateau in Velké Němčice represents a harmonious combination of history and the present. The aim is to breathe new life into this cultural monument and turn it into a centre of social and community events. The chateau, which is an inseparable part of local history, will become a dignified seat of the municipal authority and a space for cultural, social and community events.
Popis projektu
The newly designed premises on the 1st floor will offer a ceremonial hall, exhibition space and a café for social gatherings. The second floor of the chateau will provide modern offices for the town administration and clubhouses for the local community. The adjacent square will be under a major transformation and will be adapted for concerts, festivals and markets. The area will get more paving and an open character that will enhance the beauty of the chateau and the church.
Technické informace
The construction comes from different architectural styles, the largest part is Renaissance, Baroque and Classical. The building is covered throughout with new roofing on a new wooden roof truss, which uses the original wood as much as possible. The facade is finished with a coarse-grained lime plaster with a coat of white paint. On the west side, there is a distinctive new feature of the building is the uncovering of the original sala terrena and its glazing. The window frames are wooden. Inside, the materials used are mainly white lime plaster, the floors are mainly wooden. The aim is to design adequate floor coverings. The extension of chateau is designed as follows: the structure of the lift is monolithic reinforced concrete, the construction of the entrance is glazed.
