HOUSE BEHIND THE WALL

Idea projektu

The interior of the "House Behind the Wall" is designed as a peaceful and open living environment that blurs the boundary between indoor and outdoor. The concept follows the idea of introverted comfort with an extroverted connection to nature – creating a space that feels protected yet breathable. Greenery plays an essential role, both visually and atmospherically, reflecting the surrounding garden and extending it into the heart of the home.

Popis projektu

The spatial arrangement is structured vertically to reflect different layers of human experience: the ground floor is dedicated to everyday life and shared moments, the first floor supports focused work and personal mission, while the top floor offers quiet privacy and rest. The open layout of each level supports this logic while maintaining continuity through light, views, and material language. Soft natural tones, smooth plaster walls, oak wood, and indoor plants define a calm and grounded atmosphere. Interiors are minimal yet warm, offering a balanced environment for temporary academic living.

Technické informace

Interior surfaces feature smooth white plaster, oak wood finishes, and neutral textiles. Built-in furniture is seamlessly integrated into the architecture to emphasize simplicity and spatial clarity. The house is constructed with a lightweight steel frame, clad externally with prefabricated concrete panels and double-glazed openings for thermal comfort. Green roofs and natural ventilation help regulate the indoor climate. Custom lighting highlights textures and brings softness and warmth into the clean, quiet spaces.
