Kindergarden Bochoř

Idea projektu

The kindergarten is a project for the village of Bochoř - a new suitable space for children in the village and its surroundings. The village has many cultural events and leisure activities and therefore the design of the kindergarten was enriched with a multifunctional community hall used by both the children from the kindergarten and the citizens of the village. The main idea is to create a building that complements the character of the surrounding buildings, and the sections of building do not interfere with each other.

Popis projektu

Kindergarden is located on the outskirts of the village of Bochor in the catchment area of the town of Přerov. The parcel is located on the edge of the road, intended for development. It is bounded by roads on the south and east sides, the northern part is connected to the new construction of family houses and the western part is agricultural land. The building is located primarily in the northern and eastern parts of the site, with the western and southern parts with more light are for a kindergarten garden. This public facility combines three sections: a kindergarten section, multifunctional studios section and a municipal hall space. The mass of the building is L-shaped, with one part with a gable roof defined for the kindergarten section and the other part with another gable roof for the municipal hall space. These two parts, which are almost perpendicular to each other, are connected in the service area with the main entrances covered by a flat green roof. The main building is complemented by an additional building, a garden house. On the second floor of the kindergarten are multifunctional studios for leisure activities, especially for children. The parameters of the studios are also suitable as a reserve classroom for the kindergarten. The classrooms and the municipal hall are maximally illuminated from the garden area and are connected to the garden via a partially covered wooden terrace. The aim of the design is to combine the functional units into one complete multifunctional building, which construction is really wanted in this small village. Emphasis is placed on the variability of classroom, studio and hall spaces. The coherent expression of the building is also reflected in the colours and materials used-white and red surfaces on the façade, in the garden, and in the paved areas, complemented by natural wooden cladding and elements in anthracite. In terms of ecological impact, the design includes elements for an ecological and economic solution, such as permeable paved areas, a storage tank for rainwater recovery, enough greenery for a pleasant stay, controlled ventilation with heat recovery or photovoltaic panels for solar energy.

Technické informace

The construction is primarily made of local materials, in the direction of the building it is a foundation structure of concrete, walls of sand-lime masonry, ceilings of two types - pre-stressed concrete ceiling panels in combination with reinforced concrete slab, as well as a truss structure of glued wooden trusses subsequently roofed with metal roofing. The roof is designed with a groove to accommodate photovoltaic panels. The garden house is a wooden building. The façade of the main building uses timber cladding in combination with white and red facade render. The walkways are mainly concrete paving, the terrace is made of wooden planks and the path in the garden is made of synthetic surface.
