Idea projektu
The area in question is situated in the village square, it is bordered by the main road and a parking lot on the south side. The building in question is the former Renaissance town hall, now used only partly as a shop and gym. Its present state does not correspond to its representativeness and potential for the village. The purpose is not to create a new municipal office, but to create a multifunctional environment both inside and outside. The aim is to open the place up to the people as much as possible, focusing on the possibility of using the space individually and independently, respecting the history of this early 16th century building. The building will be used by citizens of the village of all ages, seniors, students, families. The building is also largely designed for people with limited mobility.
Popis projektu
The main idea is to preserve the historical value of the existing building as much as possible and to complement it with a new modern extension that complements the architectural expression of the whole. In the historic part of the 16th-century town hall itself there is only a minimal amount of structural alterations, the focus here is on the selection of suitable furnishings and the creation of light stairs with respect to the arches. The building is finished in white lime plaster and the timber openings have been refurbished and given a beige paint finish. The 19th century rafters remain, as does the roof covering, but to make use of the loft the insulation between and under the rafters needs to be finished, thus losing the prominence of the rafters. The 18th century house is connected to the Town Hall by an external pavilion of subtle expression with a glass balustrade attached only at the side and covered by an aluminium profile. The façade to the courtyard was not originally visual and so its expression has been influenced by the new doors and windows, which are of the same type as those on the street façade. The new building is connected to the 18th-century house by a neck, which is a stairwell space, to the courtyard complementing the 18th-century house facade, but the facade to the street is almost entirely glazed. The new building connecting to the stairwell space is slightly elevated due to the function of the space here. The façade consists of grey moulded render on three sides. It is flanked on the street side by a banded aluminium framed window, with a shorter banded window of the same style on the north side, and a ramp with metal railings filled with grey sheet metal below. There is a single opening into the courtyard and this is a raised platform flanked by stone cladding. The roof has a ridge dormer along its entire length terminating in a hipped roof.
Technické informace
The new building is a combination of reinforced concrete with partitions made of masonry blocks. The facade is designed with profiled plastic plaster. The roof with a ridge skylight is carried by a truss with a habalek and cladding. Due to the solution of the plastic façade, a roof gutter is designed. The extension of the public house adjacent to the town hall is of brickwork, terminated on two levels by a flat green roof with an attic, which serves as a railing in one part. On the first floor part of the extension there is again an embossed plaster, which is finished off with the attic cladding.
