Bytový dům Zenklova
Idea projektu
Základem návrhu hmoty této bytové budovy bylo její umístění na nárožní parcele s návazností na přiléhající stávající zástavbu. Bylo potřeba navázat na uliční čáry okolních staveb, které se na pozemku protínají pod poměrně ostrým úhlem. Zároveň bylo potřeba zohlednit rozdílnou výšku těchto budov. The fundamental principle behind the massing of this residential building was its placement on a corner plot, ensuring integration with the adjacent existing urban fabric. It was imperative to align with the street lines of the surrounding structures, which intersect on the site at a relatively acute angle. Simultaneously, it was necessary to account for the varying heights of these neighboring buildings.

Hlavní objemový celek budovy vzniká pomyslným protažením fasád přiléhajících staveb a jeho následným omezením hranicí pozemku. Tato hmota je následně rozdělena do dvou menších celků, z nichž jeden "naráží" do druhého, stejně jako do sebe "naráží" přicházející uliční čáry. Bytový dům se skládá z 6 nadzemních a 2 podzemních podlaží. V podzemních podlažích se nachází celkem 35 parkovacích míst a sklepní kóje pro každý byt. První nadzemní podlaží nabízí komerční prostory, zbylých 5 nadzemních podlaží pak nabízí celkem 29 bytů, z toho 2 mezonetové. Téměř všechny byty mají svůj balkon či terasu. The primary mass of the building is conceived by the imaginary extension of the facades of the adjacent structures, subsequently constrained by the property's boundaries. This initial mass is then subdivided into two smaller volumes, one of which "collides" into the other, mirroring the "collision" of the converging street lines themselves. The apartment building consists of 6 above-ground and 2 underground floors. The underground floors contain a total of 35 parking spaces and cellar storage units for each apartment. The first above-ground floor offers commercial spaces, while the remaining 5 above-ground floors offer a total of 29 apartments, including 2 maisonettes. Almost all apartments have their own balcony or terrace.
Technické informace
While this residential building primarily utilizes a conventional reinforced concrete structure, its design actively seeks to integrate a significant amount of greenery into the surrounding urban environment. The entire building is topped with a green roof, which also provides valuable terrace space for the residential units on the upper floors. Within the building's courtyard, there's a concerted effort to maximize permeable green space, with the potential to preserve mature vegetation in the corner of the plot, further enhancing the site's environmental quality. The facade features a textured plaster finish that subtly mimics timber cladding, visually lightening the construction. This textured plaster is juxtaposed with areas of smooth white render, creating a dynamic contrast on the building's exterior.
