Idea projektu
The topic of the assignment is the design of a terraced house for at least a family of four. My proposal deals with the urban design and layout of the plots, as well as the comprehensive design of individual terraced houses. The architectural study addresses the connection to the existing urban structure of the place and its surroundings. The assignment was to find an architectural form of housing for a contemporary family that is in symbiosis with the context of the place and refers to the purposefulness and reason in the formation of space for housing and family life.

When designing, I was most influenced by the orientation to the panorama of nature and the city, specifically Stará and Nová Líšeň, which the land offers. Directly from the plot we have a view of the Velká Klajdovka nature reserve. The single terraced house is made up of an ordinary block on first impression, but it is stretched on the west side at the level of the second floor, so that the living room does not overheat on hot days, but at the same time gets enough sun in winter. On the east side of the house, a projecting structure in the form of a lee is added. It is not only the structure itself that draws attention to the changes in the mass of the structure, but also the contrast of material in the form of vertical dark wood and horizontal light cladding. The advantage of our site is the possibility of stepping each house, giving us the opportunity to spice up an otherwise traditional street line. I . Variant The layout follows the simple form and blends in symbiosis with it. In the ground floor on the eastern side there is an entrance followed by a narrow corridor from which we can reach all the rooms of the first floor, starting with all the facilities of the house, such as the utility room, garage, storage, but also the cloakroom and toilet. Directly opposite the entrance there is a door to the communal living area, which is one larger space made up of kitchen, dining room and living room, there is also a French window to the garden in one line. This line gives us a pleasant view through the whole house. The second floor is reached by a two-arm right-hand staircase. On the second floor there is a quiet area consisting of two children's rooms, a bedroom with a dressing room, a study, a bathroom and a separate toilet. II. Variant The second variant a differs on the first floor only by the addition of a double garage. Changes occur on the second floor A. Bedroom with walk-in closet is added with a private parents' bathroom. There is also a storage room that is accessible through the study. B. In this variant there is only one children's room and two bedrooms, each with its own dressing room. The study has been enlarged and storage accessed through the study has been added again.
Technické informace
The proposal addresses the design and layout of the townhouses. The family houses in both types are designed with a wall system using Porotherm ceramic masonry with a depth of 500 mm at the perimeter masonry, the ceiling structure is also designed from a ceramic ceiling from Porotherm with an axial distance of the beam of 500 mm. The terraced houses take advantage of the positive factor of the terraced houses, which helps to improve thermal insulation. The buildings we have designed have a flat roof on which it is envisaged to place photovoltaic panels. The captured rainwater will be collected in rainwater harvesting tanks, from which the water can be used to replace up to 50% of the drinking water, for example for toilet, laundry or garden watering. The second option is and is extended by a double garage.
