Idea projektu
The main idea of the project was to design an administrative and production complex for the company Safiral, which is expanding and needs to increase its production space. Safiral specializes in the production of custom electronics, and the primary objective of the project was to design a production hall with administrative facilities of sufficient size to meet the company's expansion needs for a longer period. In the event of further growth, the design also considers the possibility of expanding the production area directly by extending the proposed hall within the boundaries of the site.
Popis projektu
The main entrance to the building is located on the south side, accessed via a paved area connected to the parking lot and access road. The building is divided into two height levels. The main entrance leads into the entrance hall with a reception area. From the entrance hall, it is possible to enter either the production area or the administrative part of the building. The entrance zone includes the reception and its facilities, a changing area for all employees, and restrooms for visitors. This area also houses cleaning storage rooms, an archive, and a server room. Employees entering the production area must first pass through changing rooms, which are separated into male and female sections. These facilities include showers and toilets. From the changing rooms, there is direct access to the production spaces, which consist of the main production hall and several auxiliary areas – the receiving warehouse, dispatch warehouse, and technical room, all of which can also be accessed from the parking lot through doors or sectional gates. Additional rooms include a general warehouse, a small supply storage, a maintenance storage, a maintenance workshop, and a painting room. Production staff have access to a break room, which connects the production hall with the main entrance zone. From the production area, it is also possible to access a closed corridor that leads to a staircase with an elevator, providing access to the administrative part of the building and the cafeteria, both located on the second floor. Cafeteria staff have their own designated facilities, accessible from both the entrance hall and a service entrance from the parking lot for food deliveries. Their area includes an entry corridor, staff toilets, changing room, dry storage, waste room, dishwashing area, and a lift for food transport to the serving area on the second floor. Access to the second floor is provided by a three-flight staircase or the elevator, both located in the entrance hall. The second floor is divided into two main zones: the administrative section and the cafeteria. The cafeteria is connected to the ground-floor facilities via the food lift. The administrative part of the building on the second floor has a U-shaped layout and consists of 27 offices, a lobby, a meeting room, a director’s office, and a kitchenette. Additional support spaces include an archive, a janitor’s room, and restrooms for administrative staff.
Technické informace
The building is founded on reinforced concrete stepped footings, which support a prefabricated reinforced concrete structure consisting of 500×500 mm load-bearing columns and horizontal beams. These include I-shaped beams with a cross-section of 900×500 mm and rectangular beams measuring 500×200 mm. Resting on these beams are reinforced concrete filigree slabs with a span of 2000×7500 mm, topped with a 250 mm thick cast-in-place concrete layer. The staircase is designed in reinforced concrete. The floor structure in the production area consists of a 360 mm thick layer of compacted foam glass, which serves as thermal insulation. On top of this is a 250 mm thick reinforced concrete industrial floor finished with a final epoxy coating. The external envelope of the production hall is designed using 200 mm thick insulated PUR façade panels. The façade of the administrative part features an aluminum curtain wall glazed with triple insulating glass. It is complemented with 200 mm thick insulated PUR panels. The ceilings are insulated with 250 mm thick polystyrene and covered with Fatrafol waterproofing membrane. Load-bearing partition walls are made of reinforced concrete, while non-load-bearing partitions are built from precision concrete blocks with thicknesses of 150 mm and 125 mm. Partitions in the administrative area are designed as glazed interior walls. In terms of color, the design is based on natural earth tones. Dark brown was used for the facade panels of the administrative section, while light brown was chosen for the production hall. Windows, the aluminum facade, sectional doors, and entrance doors are all finished in dark brown.
