Project idea
The idea behind this project is to reinterpret the charm and context of a historically valuable building, giving it a new form that fosters a high-density, unique living environment, with the goal of preserving it for future generations.
Project description
The site in question is a building constructed over a covered waterway in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
Technical information
The building’s structure is made of reinforced concrete (RC). RC blocks will be arranged to parasitically attach to the existing remaining building frame.
