Project idea

A small House for a family of 4. A university project.

Project description

The goal of this project is to design a functional and aesthetically pleasing family detached house for a family of four. The design addresses the following key aspects:
Provides adequately sized rooms with a clear layout for living, dining, and private areas.
Separation of public, semi-public, and private zones for better functionality and privacy.
The ground floor features functional areas like a living room, kitchen, WC, pantry, and garage. These spaces ensure convenience for day-to- day family activities.
The upper floor accommodates private bedrooms and a bathroom ensuring privacy for family members.
Large windows in the living areas and bedrooms maximize daylight, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort.
The ground floor incorporates a garage that is conveniently attached to the main house but separated from living spaces to reduce noise and fumes.
The terrace area provides an outdoor space for leisure and social activities, improving the house's usability and interaction with the environment.
The roof design ensures effective thermal performance.
Last but not least, this project demonstrates a thoughtful approach to designing a family home, balancing functionality, aesthetics, and structural integrity. It reflects careful planning to meet the needs of a modern family while considering sustainability and usability.
