Idea projektu

Vilémov u Golčova Jeníkova is a village with a rich history dating back to the 12th century. It was founded by the Benedictine Order, which built a monastery and farmstead here. Over the centuries, the village has undergone many historical changes – from the burning of the monastery by the Hussites in the 15th century to the Baroque reconstruction of the manor house in the 18th century. Today, Vilémov is known for its peaceful rural atmosphere and preserved historical heritage. The aim of our work is to create a comprehensive spatial plan that will prepare Vilémov for population growth and enhance its functional and aesthetic value. The plan is divided into several stages and takes into account the needs of residents and the specifics of the rural environment.

Our goal is to create a village that is easily accessible on foot or by bicycle, with high-quality public spaces and respect for its historical character.The new residential neighbourhood is located in the southern sectors of the village, where it connects to the existing infrastructure and natural features of the landscape, such as watercourses. The density of the development has been optimised to allow for the creation of high-quality public and semi-public spaces. The apartment buildings have three above-ground floors with gabled roofs to preserve the rural character. A promenade along the watercourse improves amenities and provides space for relaxation. Public spaces in the village include areas for meeting, community activities and sports. They are designed to be accessible to all residents and to create a pleasant living environment. These spaces are enriched by public pavilions and relaxation areas that serve to promote community life and integration. An important part of the project is Agrofoodpark, which will expand shopping and dining options in the village. This park combines local food production with opportunities for community gathering and sustainable development, which will contribute to improving the quality of life in the village.

Technické informácie

The historic farmyard of the manor house is another part of our project. We propose its revitalisation and new use, taking into account its historical and cultural significance. A brewery with beer baths is planned in the historic granary building, which will attract tourists and local residents alike. The Benedictine monastery will restore the spiritual tradition of the place and complement it with accommodation for pilgrims. The stables have been modernised and the administrator's building has been adapted for a shop selling monastery products, offices and the gamekeeper's apartment. The courtyard and its surroundings have been designed as a high-quality public space that integrates local residents and tourists.The pilgrimage route, known as the Central Trail, has been included as an important element of the plan. It connects the historical and spiritual aspects of Vilémov and promotes tourism as well as local traditions. The proposed zoning plan for Vilémov u Golčova Jeníkova represents a comprehensive approach that takes into account the historical identity of the village, the needs of its current residents and its readiness for future expansion. This project will provide residential comfort, support the local economy and preserve the unique character of the village.
