Idea projektu
This bachelor's thesis is devoted to designing the reconstruction of the granary in the village of Smolenice, which is to replace the old museum in this location. The building currently serves no purpose and is an ideal candidate for a multifunctional building with an extension.

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to analyze and propose an appropriate reconstruction of a former granary, built at the turn of the 19th century, which has been used as a temporary warehouse for the village of Smolenice and the slums for a long time. After the reconstruction, this object should be in accordance with structural and architectural principles, as well as with the latest trends in the world. In various parts of the thesis, I describe in detail the original state, the building attached to the object and the proposed new state after its reconstruction from an architectural, typological and structural point of view.
Technické informácie
The original building: Building is made of brick and stone walls 850mm thick on the first floor and 650mm on the second floor.The building has a supporting structure made of hardwood beams measuring 250x250mm. Building has a half-hipped roof made of a horizontal frame, wooden trusses, rafters, braces and purlins, which is built on a hipped roof. The new building: I decided to use a 350 mm thick reinforced concrete foundation slab to found the building. The perimeter vertical structures are made of reinforced concrete load-bearing walls with a thickness of 150 mm and in the underground with a thickness of 200 mm. The internal load-bearing structures have a thickness of 150 mm. The ceiling structure above the 1st and 2nd floors in the exhibition room will be a lightweight reinforced concrete slab, load-bearing in two directions, with a thickness of 350 mm. The ceiling structure in the 1st floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor in the corridor will be made of a reinforced concrete monolithic slab with a thickness of 200 mm. The supporting structure is a flat roof with a lightweight reinforced concrete ceiling slab Cobiax with a thickness of 350 mm.
