EN The Kociánka Centre is located in the northern part of Brno, opposite the Královopolská strojírna industrial complex on Křižíkova Street. Currently, Kociánka is a state-funded organisation established by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The centre provides support in education for people with various types of mental or physical disabilities. The aim of the facility is to integrate its clients into the normal life of society while respecting all their specific needs. The organisation currently provides its clients with respite services, day and weekly residential care, social therapy workshops, sheltered housing or health, rehabilitation services (physiotherapy, hypnotherapy, canister therapy, etc.). The main entrance to the complex is from the west side of the road connecting to Křižíkova Street. At the entrance in the original building of the chateau there is the administrative background of the centre. To the north of this building are the existing sheltered housing facilities, a gymnasium and garages. There is also access from the north and south sides of the site. Currently, the main use of the entrance is from the adjacent car park, primarily for vehicular access to the local education facility. The rehabilitation and therapy facilities are located close to this school. A horticultural centre can be found in the south-eastern part of the site. In the middle of the area there is a pleasant park with several statues and memorial trees. One of them towers over the local pond. The proposal places all the required functions in one building. On the ground floor there is a shop selling the products of the sheltered workshop and the garden centre, accessible from the adjacent car park. The floors above then contain the sheltered workshop space and the sheltered housing itself, accessed directly from the north side of the site. Everything is served by two vertical roads. There is a prominent breezeway serving as a covered lounge area for the clients. The building is located at the foot of the southern slope of the Kociánka complex approximately seven metres from Křižíkova Street. It is serviced by an existing side entrance to the site. The shop is accessible to the public from the adjacent car park. Its modification was also the subject of this work. Due to the possible narrowing of the road on Křižíkova Street, it is possible to design perpendicular parking spaces here instead of the current angled parking spaces. It also seems appropriate to move the bus stop and to modify the area in front of the Královopolská strojárna. The building is connected to the existing pedestrian roads in the area by the lake and at the point above the joinery workshop, from where a further connection towards the school is proposed. The sheltered housing is designed in the form of 'households' for three to five people. These occupy individual flats which are adapted to the needs of people with varying degrees of disability, whether physical or mental. Specifically, there are two types of flats. The façade of the building is pre-set and consists of tilting slats. These act as screening and also provide privacy for the clients on the covered outdoor terraces. The needs of clients in this type of facility are very individual. Some are almost independent, others may often require the assistance of a second person. Therefore, there are staff facilities on almost every floor to provide clients with the service they need if necessary. CZ Centrum Kociánka se nachází v severní části města Brna naproti průmyslového areálu Královopolské strojírny na ulici Křižíkova. V současnosti je Kociánka státní příspěvkovou organizací, jejímž zřizovatelem je ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí. Centrum poskytuje podporu při vzdělávání osob s různým typem mentálního nebo tělesného postižení. Cílem zařízení je začlenění svých klientů do běžného života společnosti při respektování veškerých jejich specifických potřeb. Organizace v současné době poskytuje svým klietům odhlehčovací služby, denní a týdenní stacionáře, sociálně terapeutické dílny, chráněné bydlení nebo služby zdravotní, rehabilitační (fyzioterapie, hypoterapie, canisterapie atp.) Hlavní vstup do areálu je ze západní stany z komunikace navazující na ulici Křižíkova. Při vstupu v původní budově zámečku se nachází administrativní zázemí centra. Severně od této budovy se pak nacházejí stávající kapacity chráněného bydlení, tělocvična a garáže. Dále je vjezd umožněn ze severní a jižní strany areálu. V současnosti je využíván hlavně vjezd z přilehlého parkoviště, především pro příjezd automobilů k místnímu vzdělávacímu zařízení. V blízkosti této školy se nachází zázemí rehabilitace a terapie. V jihovýchodní části areálu najdeme zahradnické centrum. Uprostřed území se rozléhá příjemný park s několika sochami a památnými stromy. Jeden z nich se tyčí nad místním jezírkem. Návrh umisťuje všechny požadované funkce do jednoho objektu. V přízemí se nachází prodejna produktů chráněné dílny a zahradnického centra přístupná ze sousedního parkoviště. V patrech nad ní jsou pak prostory chráněné dílny a samotné chráněné bydlení přístupné ze severní strany přímo z areálu. Vše je obslouženo dvěma vertikálními komunikacemi. V objektu je umístěn výrazný prostup sloužící jako krytý společenský prostor pro ubytované klienty. Objekt je umístěn v patě jižního svahu areálu Kociánka přibližně sedm metrů od ulice Křižíkova. Jeho obsluha je řešena stávajícím vedlejším vjezdem do areálu. Prodejna je veřejnosti přístupná z přilehlého parkoviště. Jeho úprava byla také předmětem této práce. Díky možnému zúžení komunikace na ulici Křižíkova je možné zde navrhnout kolmá parkovací stání namísto současných stání šikmých. Jako vhodné se jeví také posunutí autobusové zastávky a úprava prostoru před Královopolskou strojírnou. Stavba je napojena na stávající pěší komunikace v areálu u jezera a v místě nad truhlářskou dílnou, odkud je navrženo další propojení směrem ke škole. Chráněné bydlení je řešeno formou tzv. domácností pro tři až pět osob. Ty obývají jednotlivé byty, které jsou uzpůsobeny potřebám osob s různým stupněm, ať už fyzického nebo mentálního, postižení. Konkrétně se jedná o dva typy bytů. Fasáda objektu je předsazená tvořená naklápěcími lamelami. Ty plní funkci stínění a zároveň poskytují soukromí klientům na krytých venkovních terasách. Potřeby klientů v zařízení tohoto typu jsou velmi individuální. Někteří jsou téměř samostatní, jiní mohou častokrát vyžadovat pomoc druhé osoby. Proto je zde téměř na každém patře k dispozici zázemí pro personál, který v případě potřeby poskytne klientům potřebný servis.
