Mamut_large ski jumps Harrachov

Adaptace stávajících nepoužívaných struktur objektů skokanského areálu a jejich doplnění novými funkčními celky tak, aby areál odpovídal standardům 21. století a mohl být veřejností užíván celoročně i pro jiné účely než pouze závody ve skocích na lyžích. Zamyšlení se nad etapizací adaptací tohoto místa s pomocí zásahů okamžitého charakteru, které mohou být i dočasného rázu. Adaptation of the existing unused structures of the ski jumping area and their supplementation with new functional units so that the area meets the standards of the 21st century and can be used by the public all year round for purposes other than ski jumping competitions. Consideration should be given to the phasing of the adaptation of the site with immediate interventions, which may also be temporary.

Areál velkých skokanských můstků se nachází v Krkonošském národním parku v horském městečku Harrachově, které ve světě známé právě mimo jiné díky jednomu z šesti mamutích můstků na světě, a i díky našim skokanům, kteří dosáhli světových výsledků. Důležitou roli hraje rovněž příhraniční poloha a popularita mezi polskými a německými turisty. Samotný areál se nachází uprostřed severního svahu Čertovy hory a směřuje do centra Harrachovu a jeho údolí. Díky své exponovanosti vytváří dnes němou krajinnou dominantu, která je viditelná z větší části města. Můj projekt doplňuje a propojuje stávající objekt pro rozhodčí a nově navrženou lanovku, která propojí areál s centrem Harrachova. Nový objekt slouží jako výstupní stanice, kavárna a zázemí pro nově využité stávající budovy. The complex of large ski jumps is located in the Krkonoše National Park in the mountain town of Harrachov, which is famous in the world thanks to one of the six mammoth ski jumps in the world and thanks to our ski jumpers who have achieved world-class results. The border location and popularity among Polish and German tourists also play an important role. The resort itself is located in the middle of the northern slope of the Devil's Mountain and faces the centre of Harrachov and its valley. Thanks to its exposure, it now forms a silent landscape landmark that is visible from most of the town. My project complements and connects the existing building for judges and the newly proposed funicular that will connect the area with the centre of Harrachov. The new building will serve as a drop-off station, café, and facilities for the newly used existing buildings.

Nosná konstrukce budovy je z monolitického železobetonu. Nová hmota jakoby levituje nad povrchem. Je položena na železobetonových stěnách a v místě dotyku s původním objektem je s ním spojena. Objekt je směrem na výhled otevřený, ostatní strany jsou uzavřené a pokryté falcovaným plechem, který je vhodný do horského prostředí. The supporting structure of the building is made of monolithic reinforced concrete. The new mass seems to levitate above the surface. It is laid on reinforced concrete walls and is connected to the original building at the point of contact. The building is open towards the view, the other sides are closed and covered with a folded sheet metal suitable for a mountain environment.
