Elegant fire station with roof garden

My innovative fire station design features four distinct zones – the Messy/Hard Work Zone (Ground floor), Organization Zone (1st floor), the Entry Zone (Ground floor) and Recreational zone (2nd floor) – each tailored to specific needs and divided to allow occupants undisturbed focus. The garage and maintenance area ensure swift vehicle deployment and equipment readiness, while the central control room orchestrates seamless operations. Complementing functionality of the compact floorplan, there is also a roof terrace offering retreat and calm oasis vibes. Compact and efficient, the station maximizes space utilization and community engagement - there are windows pointing to the Garage space which acts as the main connection point. Further more the windows are situated to face the city which the fire station is protecting, embodying safety, readiness, and operational excellence.

There are several floors, most notably: Basement - with Fire hose workshop and additional rooms for washing and repairment. Ground floor which is spearated to two masses - West one is used for the garage and other heavy work zone, where as the East mass provides a glorious welcome to every visitor. On the first floor in the West side, there are Offices for the staff and the East side provides Training area. Second floor acts as a retreat space. One can find here the kitchen with a dining room in looking over a private roof terrace. There is also a Drill Tower on the East side that can be used for fire lookout and schaft fore fire hose drying.

As requested in the brief: foundations - reinforced concrete driven piles supporting structures - mixed system, prefabricated floors; masonry walls, external insulation - ROCWOOL or equivalent; plaster - drive; facade systems: perforated alluminium panels partitions - plasterboard; stairs and landings - monolithic, reinforced concrete
