Idea projektu

Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the design of a wellness center situated in the Central Park of Prague 13, with good accessibility to the metro and other public transport. Currently, the location is neglected, with informal paths and selfgrown vegetation. The design follows up on a pre-diploma project, the aim of which was to create a new focal point of the area that enriches the location with cultural, sports, and wellness functions. The concept of the design is a composition of two height-dominant buildings, in contrast with orthogonally arranged smaller objects. These two main buildings define a partially covered square as the natural center of the entire complex. The main building is a compact mass, a reinforced concrete skeleton with a lightweight facade, from which individual operational volumes emerge – a swimming pool, a diving pool, and a panoramic pool. Each of these elements is spatially and expressively distinct and creates a strong silhouette of the building. The complex offers a pool for toddlers, a children's pool world, a swimming pool, recreational pools, spaces for deep diving, a sauna world, massage rooms, relaxation areas, and a gym. Furthermore, a publicly accessible buffet contributes to the openness of the complex to the general public, and a wellness buffet in the clean zone is intended for visitors only. One of the receptions also includes a shop with supplementary assortment. There is also employee areas in the form of a large day room with a terrace, office spaces for the management of the entire complex, and changing rooms, which are located together with the technical and operational facilities in the underground floor. In addition, the design has spaces for education in swimming for nearby schools or training of integrated rescue system units in deep diving. The design places emphasis on the connection between interior and exterior spaces, including outdoor pools for year-round operation. The aim of the design was to create an architecturally expressive, functionally well-thought-out, and publicly open building that enriches the urban environment with a quality place for relaxation, movement, and social life.

Toalety v celém objektu bych osadila bezdotykovými bateriemi, ideálně sladěnými s bezdotykovými dávkovači mýdla ve stejném designu, dále bezdotykovými splachovači wc a ty pánské ještě bezdotykovými pisoáry s radarovým splachovačem.
