The project presents a poetic and visually compelling response to the Shing Mun River, with a sculptural form that flows harmoniously across the site. The integration of office spaces with public functions like a bookshop café and market adds valuable social depth and strengthens community connection.
The intersection between the office block and pedestrian bridge is elegant and conceptually sound. However, the current lack of clear plans raises concerns about the project's functional clarity. It's difficult to assess how well the circulation and programmatic relationships will work in practice.
Clarifying the spatial organization would help ensure that the architectural beauty is matched by usability and performance.
