The concept for the project of the dormitory of the Siberian State University of Physical Culture is based on the Rubik's Cube puzzle. Entering the university, a student is a disassembled puzzle that gradually develops throughout the entire study and ultimately gathers into a conscious independent personality.

During the design, a 7-storey dormitory building was developed for 200 students. The first 5 floors are residential, the last two are for common areas. The building is made in the spirit of constructivism and the artistic solution of the facade was inspired by the disassembled Rubik's Cube. The landscaped courtyard is designed in a modern style with the addition of oriental elements such as Japanese plants, a rock garden and small artificial ponds. There are also two mirrored gazebos with seating areas.
