As a juror for the Inspireli Awards and a fellow architect deeply committed to the social and environmental role of our profession, I want to sincerely congratulate you on your project.

Your proposal to reintroduce nature into a highly urbanized area resonates with the belief I hold dear—that architecture must go beyond function and aesthetics to become a service to society and the environment. Transforming a rigid concrete space into a green, breathable environment is a powerful gesture of healing, both for the city and its inhabitants.

The concept of a large wooden pergola, open to the sky and inviting nature to take root, reflects a sensitive and poetic approach. I particularly appreciate your focus on simplicity—using accessible materials, respecting the natural growth process, and envisioning a campus space that feels more like a forest retreat than an urban platform. This is architecture as care, as shelter, and as transformation.

Your vision also reminds me of my own final thesis project, Brain Drain, which sought to respond to the socio-economic crisis in Lebanon by creating a platform for innovation. I see in your work a similar spirit: the desire to make space for people, for breath, and for change.

I encourage you to keep pushing this vision—architecture that listens, that invites nature back in, and that restores life where it was once lost. You are on a beautiful path.
