Dear Maxim,
Your project presents a bold and visually striking proposal. The sculptural roof and fluid massing give the building a strong identity, and the marine inspiration comes through clearly. It’s an expressive move that leaves a strong first impression.
That said, the formal language does bring to mind existing works like the Kunsthaus Graz, especially in the way the surface and skylights are handled. While it’s completely valid to reference iconic architecture, I encourage you to push the form further — to define what makes it specific to your site, your program, and your design voice.
The program layout is well structured. The clear separation between competition and leisure areas, the central core, and the way light is brought into the space all show thoughtful planning. Some moments — especially around entrances and user thresholds — could benefit from more attention to human scale and experience.
Your presentation is one of the strongest parts of the project. The drawings are consistent, clean, and well-organized. The renderings communicate the spatial atmosphere effectively, and the overall graphic quality reflects confidence and control.
This is a compelling and ambitious project. With more authorship in the formal logic and a stronger connection to place, it has the potential to become something truly distinctive. Well done.
