The project "Intentos por São Paulo: Ensaio Minhocão" is an ambitious and profound concept that seeks to restore the connection between people and the city through physical and sensory experiences. In my view, the project raises important questions about spatial perception, everyday life, and the role of urban space in shaping identity. In the context of virtual technology saturation, such initiatives can have a significant impact on our perception of physical reality.
The proposed idea is to refocus people’s attention on physical perception through active interaction with space—perfectly addresses the challenges of modern urban development. The project emphasizes sensory experiences, which can become a powerful tool for restoring emotional connections between individuals and the city.
The description of the interventions is still quite general. It would be interesting to see specific examples of how each one will be realized. What objects or events will stimulate participants' senses? How exactly will the interaction with space be structured to truly achieve "deanesthesia" and create a unique experience?
Social inclusivity: It is important that the project takes into account different social and cultural groups within the city, including those who may not be able to actively participate in these "experiences" due to health, age, or social conditions. How does the project plan to engage such individuals? It might be beneficial to explore in more detail how this project interacts with the broader context of urban changes.
