This project is a poetic and bold architectural gesture that beautifully balances structural innovation with contextual sensitivity. The decision to develop a double support A-frame villa, appearing as though delicately hovering above the landscape, results in a striking visual identity that evokes both lightness and elegance. The interplay of angular geometry and openness reflects a refined understanding of form, gravity and space.
What elevates this work further is the thoughtful commitment to sustainability and prefabrication. The use of straw-bale insulation, gabion retaining walls with site-sourced stone and timber decking demonstrates an eco-conscious material strategy grounded in both environmental and aesthetic sensibility. Structurally, the pilotis concept is reinterpreted with a contemporary attitude, allowing the villa to rest lightly on the land and reducing site impact. This is a well resolved, flexible prototype that merges bold architectural language with low impact construction an inspiring proposal that challenges conventional notions of dwelling with simplicity and strength.
