This project proposes a cultural and recreational hub for the residents surrounding Laleh Park, aiming to meet their educational, artistic, and social needs through a two-building complex. The program includes gallery spaces, a library, sports facilities, and an amphitheater, which are well-distributed across three floors in the main building and a basement-level performance area in the second building. The site planning demonstrates an effective use of scale transitions and programmatic zoning to accommodate both active and contemplative functions.
The material strategy—concrete, wood, gypsum, and a curtain wall system—shows thoughtful contrast and spatial modulation. The inclusion of outdoor green spaces and thoughtful sectioning (as evident in the diagrams) enhances user accessibility and environmental comfort. However, while the layout is competent and the design language is contextually appropriate, the architectural expression remains fairly conventional. The façade treatment, spatial transitions, and interior atmospheres would benefit from further refinement to enhance spatial experience and visual identity.
Overall, the project provides a well-balanced and community-oriented design with solid functional resolution. With more development in architectural character and experiential richness, it has strong potential to serve as a meaningful urban and cultural landmark.
