The "Design of a Mixed-Use Building" project exemplifies a thoughtful integration of diverse functions—hotel, retail, convention center, and community spaces—within a cohesive architectural framework. Situated in Purbachal, the design emphasizes pedestrian-friendly environments, incorporating semi-open commercial zones and green buffer spaces to foster community engagement and seamless circulation. Natural elements like a southern water channel and an eastern lily pond are strategically utilized to create a microclimate, enhancing natural ventilation and providing a serene ambiance.
Sustainability is a cornerstone of the project, with features such as solar panels, green roofs, and water retention systems integrated to minimize environmental impact. The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and adherence to certifications like LEED and GRIHA further underscore the commitment to environmental stewardship. The architectural expression balances functionality with aesthetic appeal, employing materials like concrete for structural stability and wooden louvers for sun control and visual warmth.
Overall, the project presents a compelling vision for sustainable urban development, harmoniously blending built and natural environments to create a vibrant, inclusive community space.
