This is a truly well-designed and beautiful project. The adaptive reuse of the old factory is a brilliant and meaningful concept, adding historical depth and emotional resonance to the memorial.
It would be valuable to clearly illustrate the distinction between the preserved existing structures and the new additions—particularly in terms of materiality and spatial integration. Visuals or diagrams highlighting these contrasts would enhance understanding.
The treatment of survivor monuments and the interpretative approaches taken are powerful and impactful. However, I suggest including architectural cross-sections that reflect how the immersive “Ark” space on the first floor is organized—especially given the noticeable height difference between it and the temporary exhibition space. This variation in spatial volume is promising and could be better communicated through sectional drawings across key areas.
The use of minimalism in interior design is very effective. However, the selection of circular lighting fixtures raises some questions—perhaps a brief rationale behind their symbolic or functional role could clarify their purpose.
Finally, the outdoor circulation appears thoughtfully planned. Still, it would further enrich the project to explain the layout—such as designated paths, entry sequence, or any symbolic spatial moments leading to specific areas or entrances.
Congratulations on your compelling and emotionally resonant project and presentation
