The "Art of Wasting Space" project delivers a refreshing and inventive response to the urban design challenges of difficult site geometry and boulevard exposure. Transforming awkward residual spaces into a communal mini-park reflects a commendable commitment to enhancing livability and fostering social interaction within a dense residential setting. The dynamic wooden louver façade system is an intelligent and flexible solution, offering residents both privacy and personalized environmental control, while also contributing to the building’s expressive identity. The incorporation of community rooms, green technologies, and a retail-active ground floor strengthens the project's functionality and social cohesion. Nonetheless, further refinement could be directed toward enriching the pedestrian experience around the building, strengthening the spatial sequence from street to park, and providing a clearer articulation of environmental performance strategies beyond basic green layering. Overall, this project exhibits a strong conceptual foundation with thoughtful architectural innovation and community sensitivity.
