The "RUS SUR" project addresses a critical and often overlooked urban reality, proposing an intervention that seeks to reenergize a neglected part of Moscow through a carefully layered program of media, cultural, and residential functions. The idea of combining a mediacenter with a landscaped public park and urban estates is conceptually strong and socially relevant, offering both cultural activation and much-needed residential space. The use of robust monolithic reinforced concrete structures ensures durability and allows for spatial flexibility within the program. However, while the overall vision is compelling, the project could benefit from a more articulated urban strategy—particularly in defining clearer transitions between public, semi-public, and private spaces—and a stronger exploration of human-scale interactions within the new landscape. Additionally, the architectural expression of the housing blocks could be more refined to avoid appearing too heavy or monolithic. Overall, "RUS SUR" presents a meaningful and imaginative proposal with excellent social ambition, yet would benefit from further development in urban integration and architectural detailing.
