Architecture and Sustainability more
I really appreciate how this project is grounded in understanding people, climate, and context, especially for such a delicate and impactful typology like a school. I can tell that a lot of thought and care went into designing not just a building, but a learning environment that encourages play, creativity, and exploration—qualities that are essential for children.
The plans are well presented, clear, and detailed. It’s easy to understand the zoning, spatial relationships, and how each area supports the school's function. The layout feels logical and user-centered, and the way you’ve balanced indoor and semi-outdoor spaces speaks well to both flexibility and climate responsiveness. The boards are also very well curated, and they tell the story of the project in a cohesive and structured way.
I admire your commitment to sustainability, especially your choice to preserve the existing waterbody. It's a subtle but powerful message about environmental awareness and education. You've also addressed key site challenges, like security and hygiene, while still prioritizing the playfulness that defines childhood. That’s not easy to do, but you pulled it off thoughtfully.
As for the renders, I think you're off to a great start—the composition and intent are there. However, I do believe they can still be improved, particularly in the lighting and vegetation. Enhancing these elements would bring the spaces to life more vividly and make the overall presentation more immersive and emotionally engaging. Aim for a bit more realism and warmth to make the renderings feel as lively and inviting as the spaces you're designing.
This is a heartfelt and well-considered project.
Thank you, Nabonita Pramanik, for joining INSPIRELI, and congratulations on creating something that reflects empathy, creativity, and care for future generations.
