Dear Nurten,
Thank you for presenting your Threshold Museum project—a powerful and ambitious proposal that resonates deeply with my own vision of architecture as a catalyst for social transformation and interdisciplinary connection.
As an architect and juror for the Inspireli Awards, I was truly impressed by the clarity and depth of your concept. You move beyond the traditional boundaries of architecture and instead approach it as an open, inclusive platform—one that invites participation, dialogue, and shared creativity. This redefinition of the museum not as a passive space of display, but as an active space of engagement, is profoundly relevant today.
Your ability to weave education, technology, art, and community into a single architectural narrative shows a remarkable maturity and sensitivity. From the drawing and computer workshops to the intersection exhibition area, each component of the museum creates space for exchange—between architects and non-architects, professionals and students, people and ideas.
The thoughtful integration of materials—concrete as a symbol of strength and connection, glass for transparency and openness, and wood for warmth and tactility—reflects a beautiful balance between conceptual rigor and sensory experience. It’s a museum that doesn’t just speak about architecture, but through it.
Your project reminded me of why I believe in this discipline: because architecture, when inclusive and intentional, can shift the way people relate to each other and their environments. Keep nurturing this vision—it’s vital for the future of our cities and communities.
Warm regards,
Lucciana Nasrallah
