This project for Luminara Hotel in Pristina showcases a compelling vision to elevate the city’s hospitality scene. Seamlessly blending luxury, comfort, and sustainability, it reflects a forward-thinking approach to contemporary tourism and urban development. The inclusion of diverse amenities—such as a restaurant, SPA, fitness center, and conference halls—makes the hotel highly adaptable for both business and leisure travelers, while also contributing meaningfully to the local economy.
Architecturally, the design responds well to its urban context, featuring clean, modern lines and a spatial organization that prioritizes both functionality and experience. The thoughtful separation of guest and service circulation ensures smooth day-to-day operations. Material choices such as eco-conscious façade textiles and elegant curved panels elevate both the visual and environmental performance of the building, giving it a distinct identity within the cityscape.
The technical detailing is commendable—storage systems, staff zones, vertical circulation, and service infrastructure are carefully considered and robustly integrated. Elements like the mezzanine-level conference rooms and the basement’s comprehensive service program reflect a design philosophy grounded in efficiency and operational clarity, not just aesthetics.
For future presentation, the project would benefit greatly from clearer, more engaging visual documentation—especially diagrams and exploded axonometric views with labeled dimensions. These would help convey the project’s complexity and spatial richness at a glance, particularly in competitive or public exhibition settings. While the documentation was extensive, it made for a deeply rewarding read.
Thank you, Leonard Gashi, Gani Lekaj, Bledon Gashi, Florent Veliu, Herolind Hasimi, and Gerta Sylejmani, for sharing such an ambitious and thoughtfully crafted proposal. Luminara Hotel holds the promise of becoming not just a place to stay, but a landmark destination within Pristina’s growing urban fabric.
