The café space succeeds in creating an intimate atmosphere through its use of wood, warm lighting, and thoughtful scale. The project aims to contrast this cozy interior with the vibrant, dynamic exterior characterized by skateboards and urban activity. However, the design introduces too many materials—wood, metal, tiles—which results in a visually busy environment. This contrast between the interior calmness and exterior energy could have been effectively achieved through selective use of materials, such as incorporating metal or neon lighting in the window frames. This approach would allow the modern, energetic life outside to be experienced visually without overwhelming the cozy interior, maintaining wood as the primary material emphasizing the intended interior warmth. In adition, some areas within the space appear cramped and difficult to access, which may affect the overall functionality and user experience.
