Dear Fatemeh Zarghami,
Your design for the Waves Villa is a beautiful reflection of tranquility and familial connection. The inspiration drawn from waves is a powerful metaphor that translates seamlessly into the architectural form, creating a sense of calm and unity within the space. The division of the villa into three connected units with a central yard is a thoughtful way to balance privacy with togetherness, while also encouraging interaction among family members.
The integration of distinct spaces for each family member’s personal needs—art workshops, sports, and play areas—along with the shared outdoor gathering spaces, shows a strong understanding of functional design. The greenhouse within the grandparents’ villa is a lovely touch, offering a direct connection to nature and reinforcing the idea of peace and relaxation.
As an experienced architect, I would suggest paying careful attention to the acoustic performance within the space, especially between the interconnected roofs and walls, to ensure privacy where needed. Additionally, considering energy-efficient solutions, such as passive solar heating or additional green elements, could further enhance the environmental impact of your design.
Best of luck with your studies and future career!
