Hello Markéta,
Your concept for the student village is an excellent blend of privacy, communal space, and a connection to nature. The use of natural light and the design's focus on noise reduction is particularly thoughtful. To improve the project, I would recommend considering the following:
Sustainability: Integrating sustainable design elements, such as solar panels or rainwater harvesting systems, could improve the building’s environmental footprint while enhancing its energy efficiency.
Flexible Spaces: Consider introducing multi-purpose rooms that can adapt to various student needs. This would allow the space to be more versatile for different activities, from studying to social events.
Privacy with Connectivity: While the open common areas are excellent for socializing, adding more private study spaces, like small study pods or soundproof areas, could enhance the overall academic atmosphere.
Landscaping and Green Spaces: Incorporating green roofs or shared outdoor garden spaces would promote sustainability and improve the overall student living experience.
Best of luck with your education and career! Your project is a great foundation for student housing design.
