Hello Alsu,
Your concept for the Tash Rock Museum is compelling and offers a truly unique architectural experience that reflects the relationship between nature, geology, and design. The idea of using a geode as an architectural metaphor is brilliant; it beautifully captures the juxtaposition of the harsh exterior and the radiant, intricate interior. The museum’s design not only enhances the narrative of the exhibits but also becomes an exhibit in itself, which is a powerful approach.
As an experienced architect, I would suggest further exploring how natural light interacts with the crystalline interiors, particularly in relation to the changing natural environment outside. Consider the use of dynamic glazing or shading systems to adjust lighting conditions, ensuring that the sparkling effect of the interior remains striking yet functional throughout the day. This can also contribute to energy efficiency and improve the visitor experience in varying lighting conditions.
The glass elevator and transparent lift system are an excellent choice, allowing visitors to view the multi-level exposition while ascending. Perhaps, consider integrating interactive elements into the glass panels or using augmented reality displays for a deeper engagement with the exhibits as people move between floors.
Lastly, the museum’s integration with the surrounding landscape is key. It might be interesting to explore sustainable materials or passive building strategies to further enhance the connection with the environment while minimizing the ecological impact.
Best of luck with your education and future career!
