The Tash Rock Museum, located on a natural hill overlooking the Belaya River in Ufa, already demonstrates the idea of inaccessibility and valuable mining from the outside. The main architectural concept embodies the image of a real geode: the outer walls resemble a harsh stone shell, and inside the visitor awaits a luxurious, almost "crystalline" space filled with light and radiance of exhibits.

Thus, the museum building not only tells about the rocks, but also becomes one of the exhibits. Its stone "shell" outside and sparkling interior inside clearly show how amazing and diverse the creations of nature are.

The entrance group of the museum – stairs, elevator and escalator – are made entirely of glass and serve as a kind of observation platforms, from where the surrounding nature and the building structure itself are visible from a height. Transparent lifts allow guests to observe the museum's multi-level exposition even as they move between floors.

Special attention is paid to the second floor: there is an observation deck with a picturesque view of the Belaya River and the panorama of the city. This layout complements the overall impression of the grandeur and significance of the natural resources for which the region is famous.

There are three themed halls on the top floor.:
1. The rock Hall, where exhibits reflect the richness of the Ural subsoil, the variety of colors, shapes and structures of the stone.
2. Hall of application of minerals in construction and production of decorative slabs – examples of building cladding, mosaics and other architectural solutions are shown here, revealing the practical aspect of the use of rocks.
3. The Hall of Jewelry art, dedicated to how the natural beauty of stones is embodied in jewelry and decorative and applied art.
