The Medina Hospitalière is a compelling architectural response that thoughtfully integrates High Environmental Quality (HQE) principles within a healthcare setting. Its design sensitively reflects cultural and climatic contexts, particularly in its reinterpretation of traditional Moroccan medina elements. The innovative use of sustainable materials, like Ductal Concrete for the canopy system, demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and efficient resource management, especially through the creative stormwater collection strategy. The project's emphasis on natural ventilation via wind towers significantly contributes to energy efficiency and user comfort. While conceptually robust, further detailing of interior spatial arrangements and functional zoning could enhance operational clarity and workflow efficiency. Overall, this design sets a commendable precedent for sustainable healthcare architecture, successfully blending tradition with modern ecological sensibilities.
