This project presents a thoughtful and heartfelt approach to creating a sustainable and livable village where nature and people coexist harmoniously. The large site of 177 hectares is carefully planned to balance ecological preservation, functional urban design, and community wellbeing.
The variety of residential types—manor, block, and sectional housing—along with integrated retail, medical, and service facilities, creates a vibrant, walkable neighborhood that meets residents’ daily needs locally. The inclusion of a farm to provide eco-friendly food demonstrates a strong commitment to self-sufficiency and environmental responsibility.
Public spaces like the river park, pedestrian boulevard, and central square are well-conceived, encouraging social interaction, community events, and healthy lifestyles. The design’s emphasis on eco-friendly construction and minimizing environmental impact reflects a modern, sustainable mindset.
The narrative of teamwork and iterative design highlights the care and dedication invested in the project, suggesting a deep understanding of residents’ needs and the complexities of sustainable urban development.
Energy Efficiency:
Incorporate renewable energy sources (solar, wind, geothermal) and smart grid technologies to enhance the village’s sustainability.
Stormwater Management:
Develop detailed strategies for stormwater management and flood prevention, especially near the river park area, to ensure resilience against climate extremes.
Social Infrastructure:
Consider including educational and cultural facilities such as schools, libraries, or community centers to support lifelong learning and strengthen community ties.
Phasing and Flexibility:
Outline a phased development approach that allows adaptation over time based on residents’ evolving needs and environmental monitoring.
Biodiversity Enhancement:
Expand on plans to preserve and enhance local biodiversity through native plantings, wildlife corridors, and green roofs or walls.
