However, the most emblematic feature of this project is its idea of a metasystem in the park, where all the ecological systems, human activities, and architectural signs are combined in one single intelligible system. The inclusion of biotopes, water systems, mobility corridors, and functional zones indicates a remarkably high level of landscape analysis and intelligence. The network of vertical signs such as observation towers, wind towers, and birdwatching platforms is extremely beneficial in orienting people within this vast territory, but it tends to serve only for emphasizing ecological stories, mainly associated with bird migration and protection. The project is successful in turning a vulnerable landscape into a well-organized and resilient ecological infrastructure.
However, the very strength of the project in terms of systemic complexity also points to a possible weakness. This is because the very density of layers, zones, and special landscapes might make it very confusing for the casual visitor, rendering the park very difficult to navigate without signs or directions. It should be noted that, in terms of the ecological system, the complexity is very strict. Nevertheless, there is a possible improvement in terms of the experiential hierarchy in the secondary spaces related to the primary spaces.
