In conclusion, the renovation of the Zahrádky Castle shows a holistic and carefully integrated approach to adaptive reuse, successfully converting a historical monument into a diverse cultural, culinary, educational, and conference facility. The project shows a significant respect for the historical integrity of the monument and, at the same time, a confident approach to interior renovations of the restaurant, exhibition spaces, hotel, and conference areas. There is no ambiguity regarding the spatial organization, allowing for various functions of the facility not to compete with each other, with materials and lighting used to keep the same refined ambiance all over the castle.
Two other areas may benefit from some additional development. First, a more visible strategy for navigating between programs could help to knit together this multi-program space more effectively. At the moment, all of the interiors are well-designed, but a more visible system related to signage or other visual indicators would help new users navigate between restaurant space, exhibition space, hotel space, and other related programs more easily. The other area with some potential is connecting the space between interiors and exterior space.
