To Mrs. Adriana Hendrichova
I have reviewed your project it s truly outstanding and its simple concept has been effectively utilized
The project demonstrates a strong consideration for Zambia s local environment and climate, evident in the use of local materials like adobe bricks, steel space trusses, and wood. The building designs facilitate natural ventilation and lighting. The circular arrangement of the buildings is distinctive,
promoting social interaction among students. The use of metal materials, particularly the space truss is excellent reducing costs while offering a unique aesthetic that complements the circular form.
The relationship between the general functional and aesthetic elements is well-executed.
I suggest further developing and highlighting the main entrances for each section
The gravity-fed water tank design reflects a smart and sustainable approach to resource management, especially with the water tower centrally located as a focal point. The cylindrical shape of the tower along with the chosen materials adds an aesthetic dimension that complements the project's design concept making sustainability a visible rather than just a functional element. The facades also reflect the local identity
The school's overall site planning is well-considered providing green spaces and suitable sports facilities for various activities. Unfortunately there's a lack of consideration for sun and wind movement to ensure a comfortable environment. Additionally the project lacks a comprehensive study of sun and wind movement, which is crucial for optimal building orientation and ventilation openings
A minor observation a re-evaluation of the furniture layout in the classrooms section is recommended
This is a truly remarkable project that deserves recognition You possess strong design capabilities keep up the excellent work. Good luck, and I wish you continued success
1.Comprehensive study of sun and wind movement for the project has not been clearly demonstrated, which is crucial for ensuring optimal building orientation and ventilation openings.
2. Reconsideration of furniture layout in the classrooms section, and showcasing more rendered perspectives during both evening and midday.
