This project presents a thoughtful and contextually rich approach to campus planning, beautifully rooted in local traditions and rural Zambian building culture. The use of interlocking earth bricks, thatch, and climate-responsive design shows a strong commitment to sustainability and community involvement.
The phased development strategy and flexibility of the layout are well-articulated, and the decision to preserve all existing trees is especially commendable.
That said, I find the massing lacks harmony in some areas. While the grid-based logic and functional separation are clear, the visual cohesion between built forms could be further refined to enhance spatial unity.
Overall, the material choices, construction logic, and inclusive design process are commendable and offer real potential for long-term success.
