Feedback: RAMMA: Sexual Health Center with a Library and Rooftop Garden
This is an exceptionally thoughtful and innovative project that sensitively addresses a crucial societal need through powerful architectural metaphors.
The concept of a "flower stem" staircase guiding users through a journey of growth and self-discovery related to sexual health is truly brilliant and adds a profound layer of meaning. The integration of the Fibonacci sequence into the form further strengthens this organic inspiration.
Functionally, the design is robust, with clear zones for prevention, psychological support, and education, culminating in a symbolic rooftop garden. The project's commitment to ecological responsibility is evident in the use of CLT, rammed earth, and compressed earth blocks, leveraging regional traditions for sustainable construction. Reimagining an existing structure also highlights a smart approach to adaptive reuse.
Improvement Suggestion
To enhance this strong project, consider delving deeper into how the "journey of transformation" is tangibly expressed through specific sensory elements and material transitions at each "petal" level, further reinforcing the architectural narrative for the user.
