Any participant in the INSPIRELI AWARDS competition can ask a member of the international jury for feedback on his/her competition project. Jurors are assigned across continents at a ratio of one juror per student. The resulting gallery is a unique architecture textbook, created free of charge by those who wish to participate in our project and contribute their work to the education of the up and coming generation. We are honored that you are sharing your designs and experiences here.

This project demonstrate a good understand standing of relevant technical details. It is a commendable strategy to manage the weight of the structure by using elements such as trusses on a project of a massive scale. In addition the dynamic architectural form fit well with a futuristic theme.

advisorThere’s something really compelling about this project. It feels monumental, but not in a pretentious way — more like a quiet, structural honesty that grounds the whole composition. The overall massing is bold and unapologetic, yet well-integrated into the landscape, which adds a nice tension between raw geometry and soft context. I love how the design plays with rhythm and repetition — especially in the facade and structural system. The cantilevered terraces create a strong visual language,…

advisorThis project stands out as a clear attempt to use parametric design not just for form-making, but to generate spatial emotion. The circular shapes and “bubble” elements express an intention to soften architecture, to make it feel organic, welcoming, and human-centered. Conceptual Narrative The inspiration from octopus lines and biomorphic curves isn’t just decorative — it gives meaning to the geometry. In a world of empty forms, this has a reason to exist. Balance of Privacy and Openness The…

advisorAs the building is an old one, it was made of wood and concrete. The space age installations were made of glass, steel, plastic

advisorAs Aldo Rossi once provocatively said, “copying is for masters.” It’s a phrase that should invite deeper reflection on certain design choices within this project. In this case, however, I find it difficult to fully appreciate the proposal, as it gives the impression of being a diluted imitation of MVRDV’s work—without truly capturing the conceptual clarity or spatial intelligence of their approach. Referencing established practices is absolutely valid—it's how we learn and grow—but drawing…

advisorI find the project conceptually strong and well-balanced, especially in how it seeks to breathe new life into the castle while preserving its historic identity. The integration of new functions—such as the gastronomy area, the wellness space in the repurposed greenhouse, and the transformation of the orangery into a café—demonstrates a sensitive approach to adaptive reuse. In particular, I truly appreciate the use of wood within the architectural language. As a natural material, wood brings…

advisorwhile the organic roof form is visually striking, its structural and material logic needs further resolution. Some areas feel overly compressed while others are too open, which can affect both usability and spatial experience. The integration of public space, water edge, and internal circulation routes is ambitious.

advisorThe linear layout provides clarity in circulation, and the sequencing of elements like the museum, exhibition pods, and view points suggests a deliberate narrative progression. The zoning strategy feels somewhat linear and predictable

advisorThe overall project is acceptable and shows effort in design development. However, the material palette appears inconsistent and lacks a clear justification.
