PROJECTS FEEDBACK

Any participant in the INSPIRELI AWARDS competition can ask a member of the international jury for feedback on his/her competition project. Jurors are assigned across continents at a ratio of one juror per student. The resulting gallery is a unique architecture textbook, created free of charge by those who wish to participate in our project and contribute their work to the education of the up and coming generation. We are honored that you are sharing your designs and experiences here.

First of all, thank you for sharing such an emotionally charged project. “Beirut is still breathing” is more than just a design proposal, it feels like a statement of resilience and hope. I really appreciated the care and thought you put into transforming a space of destruction into one of gathering, creativity, and life. Overall, I think you’ve created something very touching. It’s rooted in memory, but it also looks forward. What stayed with me the most is how you approached the idea of…

while the organic roof form is visually striking, its structural and material logic needs further resolution. Some areas feel overly compressed while others are too open, which can affect both usability and spatial experience. The integration of public space, water edge, and internal circulation routes is ambitious.

The concept of a “Modular Knowledge Cluster” that integrates education, production, and sustainability is both timely and inspiring. I appreciate how the design respects the site’s natural and historical context while promoting a dynamic, flexible environment that supports learning and collaboration. The use of modular architecture and ecological strategies demonstrates a deep…

Your project is grounded in strong values and a meaningful social mission. You’ve clearly understood the role architecture can play in post-war healing and community resilience. That said, there’s real potential to push your design further, especially in terms of innovation and integration with the urban context. Currently, the building feels somewhat static, with many materials—brick, glass, steel, wood—competing rather than complementing one another. Try to refine the material palette to…

The creation of a village that strengthens interactions and expands interpersonal relationships between students and the general public is very attractive, and responding to the needs of each of them is the task of the project architect. The use of natural and indigenous materials makes this project different from other similar projects.
