PROJECTS FEEDBACK

Any participant in the INSPIRELI AWARDS competition can ask a member of the international jury for feedback on his/her competition project. Jurors are assigned across continents at a ratio of one juror per student. The resulting gallery is a unique architecture textbook, created free of charge by those who wish to participate in our project and contribute their work to the education of the up and coming generation. We are honored that you are sharing your designs and experiences here.

Marina and Ports projects feedbacks

To begin with, I find this to be a well-structured research project, taking into account the historical moments and events that shaped the site, which are clearly explained through both the analysis and the study of the current situation. It is also a strong decision to use this foundation to propose different strategies for the revitalization of the area. Another point worth highlighting is the combination and creation of systems aimed at fostering greater social interaction. This approach…

this project is valued for its sensitive response to a highly specific cross-border context and for its clear ambition to transform an underused harbour into a shared civic landscape of integration, leisure, and ecological awareness. The proposal convincingly recognizes the strategic position of the site near the Słubice–Frankfurt (Oder) crossing and translates this into a strong public-oriented program that blends recreation, sport, culture, and nature in a balanced way. The building is…

this project is appreciated for its sensitive integration into the natural landscape and its strong dialogue between architecture, topography, and public space. The decision to embed part of the building into the hill and to visually conceal the parking structure demonstrates a mature understanding of environmental context and visual impact. The amphitheater as the central organizing element is particularly successful, acting as both a spatial and social connector, while the cascading water…

The project offers a compelling model of a new urban district where transportation, housing, and green space work together as a single entity. The logic of the hub's formation around the future station and its impact on the development of the business and residential environment are particularly clear. The author has successfully created a clear and relevant urban planning framework based on sustainability, mixed-use, and pedestrian comfort.

The project demonstrates a mature and sensitive approach to working with the historic environment. The designer convincingly reveals the castle's hidden layers and transforms them into new spaces for communication and culture. The solutions in the Spa and Exhibition Wings, as well as the use of the landscape axis, are particularly strong.

Your project demonstrates a strong ambition to redefine the service-station typology, and the conceptual narrative of a “ripple” expanding into the urban fabric provides a clear thematic anchor. The integration of commercial, hospitality, worship, and mobility-related functions is handled with confidence, and the site plan shows a well-organized hierarchy between transit areas, pedestrian zones, and landscape pockets. However, several aspects would benefit from further refinement. At the…

Dear Andrey. Very thoughtful & well presented. Selection of the context and proposed solutions are quite feasible. Detailed analysis and research are appreciated. A bit more focus on 3d modelling and rending is required. Goodluck!

Dear Anna & Allice, Nice presentation & visual design. Adding more details would make more sense to it. I'd also suggest to not cover the whole building with the new structural facade addition. Selective approach would make more sense, while retaining the true essence of the building. Thanks.

Eliška, While your project intends to emphasise no nature based solution to mitigate adverse impact of CC, landscape and strategic infrastructure design to build necessary reinforcement plays a central role. I do appreciate your in-depth focus on site specific approach, analysis and presentation, however, I feel some more sustainable passive techniques and innovative environmental design solutions could have used to explore more opportunities in urban context. I am also hoping to include…
