Work description

The offer is for an open internship position within the R&D team of AUDIO BU at Goodix Technology Belgium. Our primary focus is on developing audio and speech solutions for the mobile, wearable, and automotive sectors.Machine learning, particularly deep neural networks, is essential in various audio and voice processing applications, such as voice quality and intelligibility enhancement, spatial signal processing, source separation, and audio classification.As part of this internship, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to undertake an independent project on one of these topics, such as voice enhancement or voice restoration, under supervision. The project will involve conducting a literature review, selecting and preparing data, implementing neural networks and loss functions using a Python framework, running training sessions on a cloud service, and analyzing the results. This hands-on experience will provide valuable insights into the application of machine learning in audio and speech processing.
