Work description

Understand company policies and procedures affecting power distribution (placement of poles and underground or overhead conductors, MV/LV transformers, meters and junction box connections, grounding, circuit overload protection).Design and review design diagrams and drawings, and confirm the viability of engineering systems with respect to the conditions of the site under study.Coordinate workflow within company divisions, from procurement to transportation and on-site installation of equipment.Comply with best practices, internal policies, and external requirements (environment, occupational health and safety, applicable codes and standards).Report to engineering/construction supervisors.Be familiar with the generation and detailed understanding of electrical schematics for solar power plants. Regularly participate in and supervise work on solar power plants (including photovoltaics, batteries, a generator, and the necessary electrical circuits and grids) on construction sites, and over several days as needed in remote areas.Troubleshoot electrical issues on company and customer equipment.Use sizing and planning software in Python.Be able to imagine, design, and implement solutions to practical challenges.
