Work description

Support the R&D team in the development of beverages added to encapsulated supplements and other projects involving food innovation. Support the R&D team in the development of mycotoxin analysis for animal nutrition using chromatography and development of new products for animal nutrition by adding supplements and antioxidants. Support for the development of analytical methods for determination of vitamins in foods and the detection of contaminants in meat products related to animal health.1. Development of New Products• Assist in the formulation of beverages and new dietary supplements, testingdifferent concentrations and ingredient combinations.• Conduct sensory tests (color, flavor, texture) to evaluate the acceptance ofdeveloped new products• Prepare samples for internal testing and shipment to partner laboratories.• Monitor the stability of formulations (phase separation, degradation of colo,r andflavor over time).2. Chromatographic and Laboratory Analyses• Assist in the preparation and execution of chromatographic analyses.• Perform microbiological analyses to detect contaminants in beverages and foodproducts.• Support the development of analytical methods for the quantification of vitaminsand antioxidants in food.• Prepare technical reports with the results of the conducted analyses.3. Research and Documentation• Review scientific and regulatory literature.• Assist in preparing technical presentations for team meetings.• Draft development reports to document research processes and results.4. General Laboratory Support• Organize and maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment, ensuring thatreagents and equipment are properly stored.• Manage the stock of materials and reagents, helping to request new supplies whenneeded.• Assist in the calibration and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment used inchemical and microbiological analyses.Intern’s Key Contributions• Gain hands-on experience in the development of new food products.• Learn advanced laboratory techniques, including chromatography and microbiology.• Contribute to research with a direct impact on the food and beverage industry.• Develop analytical and documentation skills essential for a professional career.
