Research Line: MICROFABRICATION • Experience in microcomponent fabrication and machining; • Knowledge of laser manufacturing parameters and laser texturing; • Proficiency in creating and fabricating functional texture patterns on metallic surfaces.***1. Research Line: ADVANCED MANUFACTURING Challenges: • Implementation of advanced manufacturing systems using Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence technologies to create intelligent and autonomous production environments; • Study of connectivity techniques such as Internet of Things (IoT) and wireless communication to enable interconnection and interaction of smart products with other devices and systems; • Integration of augmented reality and virtual reality technologies in factory operation and maintenance to improve productivity and reduce downtime; • Development of algorithms and data analysis techniques to enable intelligent decision-making and resource optimization; 2. Research Line: ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING Challenges: • Fabrication of parts in additive manufacturing, considering all phases of the process and their materials • Study of heat treatment for relieving residual stresses in parts manufactured by additive manufacturing; • Analysis of roughness, porosity, metallurgical properties, and imaging of parts produced by additive manufacturing. 3. Research Line: MICROFABRICATION Challenges: • Fabrication of machined microcomponents; • Study of manufacturing parameters using laser technology in a laser texturing machine; • Creation and fabrication of functional texture patterns on metallic surfaces.
