Work description

Agroscope is the federal government's competence center for agricultural research and is affiliated to the Federal Office for Agriculture. At three main locations and 15 smaller experimental stations throughout Switzerland, research is carried out for the agricultural and food industry, legislation and politics.Your internship will focus on variety testing in maize, potato and cereal. It will mainly involve field work, some indoor work, and computer-based acquistion.Maize variety testing- Helping at taking notes in the field and at the harvest of field trials- Helping at the processing of samples after the harvestPotato variety testing- Helping at the processing of the samples after the harvest (calibration, quality measurements, food processing analyses...)Cereal variety testing- Helping at harvest of field trials- Helping at the processing of samples after the harvest (cleaning, quality measurements,...)
