Work description

This offer is available for undergraduate students of Physics, Electronic Engineering, ComputerScience or any related area who are in the last semester of their degree. The student will workwith the Quantum Optics research group at Universidad del Valle.The main activities of the internship are:- Curation, handling and analysis of optical spectral data from Lidar, Agriculture, DOAS or opticalsensing applications.- Support in the development and implementation of supervised and unsupervised dataclassification methods.- Participation in academic events,- The student will be in contact with students, researchers and professors in physics, chemistryand engineering.At the beginning of the internship, the internship supervisor will introduce the team members andthe specific tasks to be performed during the internship. The candidate should have knowledge ofmatlab, python or c++.
